Fully funded three-year postdoctoral researcher positions available at the University of Eastern Finland through the NOVEL MSCA Postdoctoral Programme!
University of Eastern Finland (UEF) has launched a pioneering postdoc programme focused on brain health research and innovation. We are seeking curious postdoctoral researchers from around the world to spark new ideas and shape the global future of brain health together with outstanding supervisors.

has not lived or worked in Finland for more than 12 months within the last three years, but is interested in working and living in Kuopio, Finland
NOVEL offers postdocs full funding for 3 years, freedom to decide and design one’s own research project, an intersectoral secondment, and tailored training and career support to help you grow as an independent researcher.
NOVEL’s second call is open between December 1, 2025, and February 28, 2026. We have 10 postdoctoral researcher positions open in exciting research areas:
