Presenting Kuopio Health members: Solutionery supports tech startups
“Mika Mononen finds it important that Kuopio Health will also help discovering joint approaches that enable employing those coming from education institutes in health technology.”
Solutionery supports tech startups
Solutionery, a company from Kuopio, provides startups with consulting and development services.
– We offer specialist services that a newly-founded company needs for developing its technology and business. This includes management consulting, support in technology or software development, and digital marketing services, says entrepreneur Mika Mononen.
Mononen notes that the company is looking to particularly target new technologies in fields such as healthcare.
Interest in commercial application
The company founded in summer 2019 and operating under the company name has been a member of the Kuopio Health innovation ecosystem since winter 2020.
– My goal was to find new customers from the health tech companies in Kuopio and help them move forward.
Mika Mononen estimates that the other members of the innovation ecosystem can also benefit from the competence Solutionery has in commercialising technology and carrying out strategic work. The company can help startups determine the development paths for their new technologies and work out how these can be commercialised, marketed, sold, and productized.
He has noticed that there is clear interest in promoting tech startups in the Kuopio region. For instance, he is glad about the active role KPY Novapolis has taken in supporting startups.
Mika Mononen finds it important that Kuopio Health will also help discovering joint approaches that enable employing those coming from education institutes in health technology.
– We could collaborate in thinking about models that would enable us to serve as work placement sites and commission final studies from students.
He also wishes that the cooperation will enable establishing new local networks. At the concrete level, this could be accomplished with joint workshops where startups and specialists could generate ideas and consider how the innovation technology in Kuopio can be translated into commercial success.
Mononen has set his sights on an innovation ecosystem whose members support one another and share ideas freely.
– It is important that we strive for achieving common goals and collaborate in promoting the competence we have here in Kuopio, he notes.
