The Eastern Finland Growth Path+ project supports Eastern Finland’s health, wellbeing and social sector SMEs in internationalization. The project develops and pilots a dynamic business group model that helps companies form groups aimed at internationalization and utilize international ecosystems and networks. During the project, at least 45 companies will be identified and contacted, and offered the opportunity to join the business groups. At least 10 business groups will be formed for internationalization, and at least 10 key target markets where the companies have business potential will be identified and analyzed.

Business groups are formed on the basis of mutual interaction and common interests between companies in the cooperation and networking platform developed in the project. Companies can use this platform to expand their contacts and promote their voluntary participation in international activities. The project brings together companies, regional ecosystems and international networks. The results will be published openly, and the suitability of the operating model developed in the project will also be assessed for wider national use in the normal operations of companies and development organizations after the project ends.
