The Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) has launched its eight call for proposals, featuring four new topics: heart disease in cities, using big data to tackle osteoarthritis, the development of regulatory sandboxes, and the best ways to measure a therapy’s impacts on patients’ lives.

This is a two-stage call, which means that short proposals have the deadline of 10 October 2024 at 17:00 CEST. All applicants must be part of the short proposal. After review, only the applicant consortium of the first ranked short proposal will be invited to prepare a full proposal, which has the deadline of 23 April 2025 at 17:00 CEST.

You can learn more about each topic by reading the call text, or by watching the recordings of the IHI Call Days for Call 8, which were held from 17-21 June 2024 with the aim of providing information sessions on each topic, as well as the rules and procedures.

MedTech Europe provides a wealth of resources for those interested in participating in IHI, including an informational video, templates, and guidelines.
